Philippines is Now a Global Care Destination

Last March, the 4th World Health Tourism Congress (WHTC) was held and proved to be a major milestone for the medical tourism industry.  We are proud that with The Zen Institute medical spa we were able to participate and attend its activities like the B2B (business to business) sessions where we met prospective buyers and clients.  Surely, the WHTC launched the Philippines as a major medical tourism destination with superb medical facilities and expertise as well as post procedure facilities.

The Congress was well attended by health officials and executives from companies based in the Middle East, the United States, Europe and Australia.  Local participants were representatives from various hospitals and clinics, spas, health resorts, ambulance companies, as well as medical facilitators and tourist agencies.  The three-day conference provided opportunities for both buyers and sellers to explore the Philippine model through its workshops, business to business sessions and a tour of participating hospitals.
