Our bodies are biologically designed to have hair all over.  Long before we were able to cover ourselves with ready-to-wear clothing, body hair provided warmth and protection.  In the advent of modern times, the functionality of body hair has become nil and in turn, these hair growth has become cumbersome and ugly for some societies just like ours.  To do away with unsightly facial and body hair, new technologies have been developed in answer to this concern.

For unwanted hair, we conduct laser hair removal sessions for permanent hair growth reduction.  This is not to say that the treated area will turn bald.  There will always be re-growth of hair but with laser treatment such hair will be fine and barely visible to the naked eye. 

Laser hair removal treatments are usually requested to remove hair on the armpits, bikini line, legs and face.  The procedure is quick, painless and requires no down time at all.  Low-intensity laser is absorbed by the pigment in the hair follicle.  The heat generated by the laser injures the hair follicle and this result to poorer future hair growth.

For facial hair, one session lasts to less than 10 minutes.  For the armpits, 15 minutes of laser treatment goes for each arm.  The bikini line takes longer like 30 minutes.  On both legs, the session goes on for an hour.

Hair removal sessions for the armpits are usually coupled with a whitening program.  The program includes the peeling and bleaching process because no matter how good your whitening solution is, if you do not remove the skin barrier, then it is useless.  Here, right timing is crucial to avoid burning the treated area for this may cause hyper-pigmentation or darkening likened to scarring or skin that has from recovered from an injury.

After the laser hair removal process, we proceed to micro-peeling for another 15 to30 minutes depending on the size of the area.  After the inflammation had subsided, one can apply the bleaching home preparation.  The bleaching process can lasts from one to two weeks.  After the recovery period of three to five days, one can now proceed to the next laser hair removal session to complete the cycle.  The home regimen includes anti-inflammatory crèmes, moisturizers, exfoliating products and natural anti-perspirant.

A whole cycle can lasts for month.  Depending on the discoloration of the armpits, the treatment cycle can extend from four to six months for severe cases.  For moderate cases with three to four darker tones from your natural skin color, treatments are done within a period of three to four months.  For one to two tones darker armpits, you will be treated for two months.
