Victor's Advocacy

Men also experience common skin problems like pimples, skin blemishes, enlarged pores and fine lines, thus, it is no wonder that skin products and services are now coming out that cater to their specific needs.  At the Zen Institute, we cater to men’s needs for body and facial contouring, skin treatment and spa services.  One avid fan is Victor Aliwalas.  He frequents our clinic not only for our skin care services but admittedly, he is also “a huge advocate of good health without using surgery or cosmetic enhancements.” 
Way long before he was introduced to local showbiz and to the Zen Institute, his life was very different in the US.  Victor studied marketing and finance courses in Le Moyne College in Syracuse, New York. He was a stock mortgage broker in New York before moved here and tried his luck in acting, modeling and hosting.  He says he was fortunate enough to be in the right place at the right time and that everything just kind of just fell into it. When the opportunities came, Victor took the plunge. 
To date, this newest member of GMA-7's Artist Center has appeared in a SUV commercial, the hit teleserye, Marimar, and in the movie, My Bestfriend's Girlfriend. 
He also did acting duties in the Ogie Alcasid and Michael V. starrer, “Ang Spoiled Brat, the Movie”.  He is currently taping for the afternoon soap, Kaya kong Abutin ang Langit, where he plays the love interest of Iza Calzado. 
Even if he is busy with his projects, Victor never fails to take time out and take care of himself.  “I try to box two to three times a week and I work out regularly at least three to four times a week.”  How about Victor’s diet?  “I do not really diet unless I know I have a photo shoot, fashion shoot or event that I really need to get ready for.  Aside from that, I do not really tend to diet.  I just make sure to work out regularly.   I am fortunate to have good genetics so I think between a good metabolism and a steady workout routine, I maintain my body.” 
On top of that, Victor comes to the Zen Institute for facial and skin treatments.  “My face is usually acne-free thanks to Dr. MJ.  After the treatments, I feel rejuvenated, parang bago ako.  The Dermapoint does not only prevent acne but also improves the quality of my skin.  The treatment has removed acne scars I had when I was younger.”
 So, what else does Victor say about the Zen Institute?  “The staff is extremely nice and helpful.  I have come to know them very well.  The treatments are very effective and do not take too much time from my hectic schedule.  My face and body looks at its best.  Despite the crazy heat, pollution, lack of sleep and make-up, my face still remains clear.  I really do not think this would be the case at all without the treatments at Zen.”
